DESCRIPTION:U.S. – Malaysia trade is increasing; as exports grow it is crucial to gain a better understanding of regulations that govern entry to the U.S. Join AMCHAM as we host the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Trade Deputy Executive Assistant Commissioner John Leonard\, Executive Director Eric Choy and Director Alex Amdur on 01 June for a special briefing. The delegation will share current and future CBP policies and programs and provide an opportunity for members to ask questions on various trade related topics of interest. \nDuring their visit with government and private industry stakeholders\, the delegation will be discussing forced labor\, supply chain security and supply chain resiliency\, trade fraud\, information sharing\, authorized economic operators/mutual recognition agreements\, and explore opportunities to enhance the strong relationship between the U.S. and Malaysia in the areas of trade enforcement and facilitation. \nWho should attend: \n\nCompanies exporting to the U.S.\nChamber and Industry Association representatives\n\nThis event is free for AMCHAM members.
