DESCRIPTION:AMCHAM is pleased to invite you to our first half-day program for the year\, AMCHAM Healthcare Forum 2019 on Thursday\, March 28 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel. \nObjective \nThe purpose of the AMCHAM Healthcare Forum 2019 is to foster a productive public-private dialogue around the role that the private sector can play in delivering enhanced healthcare outcomes for Malaysia\, and how this relates to the government’s healthcare strategy. We will be joined by senior officials from the Ministry of Health and other government agencies\, as well as leadership from a diverse range of private sector stakeholders in the healthcare sector. \nProgram \nThe Pakatan Harapan government’s stated ambition is for total healthcare spending in Malaysia to reach 7% of GDP (around RM 100bn)\, while significantly improving allocative efficiency so that this spending leads to enhanced healthcare outcomes for the rakyat.
