SUMMARY:Government Relations Workshop
DESCRIPTION:AMCHAM played a particularly crucial role in advocacy during the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic\, which saw an unprecedented need for companies to not only communicate to the Government issues being faced on the ground\, but also to obtain clarification from the government on the evolving regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). \nMoving into 2022\, AMCHAM is seeking proactive methods of advocacy. This will help to ensure consistency and synchronization of its messaging to members’ and US corporate lines. \nEVENT DETAILS \nDate: 30 Nov 2021 \nTime: 2:00pm – 5:00pm \nVenue: InterContinental Hotel\, Kuala Lumpur \nREGISTRATION INFORMATION: IMPORTANT NOTE: COVID-19 OBSERVANCES \nAs everyone’s health and safety remains our main priority\, we will continue to observe and adhere to prevalent SOPs for events. \nRegistration is mandatory for all participants in order for sufficient and safe physical distancing to be maintained. \nAll guests are required to update your individual profile accurately and present your MySejahtera status upon registration on the day of the event. \nPlease note late registrations/walk-ins will not be admitted. Individual ticket registrations will be closed 48 hours prior to the event date – please confirm your participation by end of day Friday\, 26 November 2021 at the latest.

IATA will provide an overview of the current state of the airline industry along with an short to longer term outlook. Stevens\, Second Secretary and Consul\, U. S. Embassy Beijing – Up to date information on travel to the USA.\n\nBreakout Discussions. After the plenary presentations\, participants will be invited to join destination-specific breakout sessions\, where there will be the opportunity for networking and interactive discussion about country-specific information.
