DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to inform you that the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) will be organising a Supply Chain Conference\, themed “MNCs & SMEs Supply Chain Development and Opportunities” at Shangri-La Hotel\, Kuala Lumpur on Monday\, 30 October 2017. \nThe objectives of this conference are: \n\nTo provide a platform for multinational companies (MNCs) and large local corporations (LLCs) to share the success of their programmes in supporting local companies to be part of their supply chain network;\nTo provide opportunities for local companies/SMEs to understand how they can participate in the MNCs/LLCs’ supply chain network;\nTo create opportunity for local companies/SMEs to have greater market access locally and globally;\nTo encourage utilization of local products & services for projects/manufacturing activities undertaken by MNCs/LLCs or foreign companies in Malaysia;\n\nFor your kind information\, YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Bin Mohamed\, the Minister of International Trade & Industry (MITI) will deliver the keynote address at the conference.
