United Airlines introduces ‘Agent on Demand’ (AOD) and Change Fee Waiver

United was the first airline to debut a video-enabled, day-of-travel customer service technology, Agent on Demand (AOD), across the hub network. Agent on Demand allows customers to seamlessly connect with customer service agents by call, text or video chat live from their mobile device and get answers on everything from seat assignments to boarding times while also prioritizing their health and safety. Change fee waiver for all Basic Economy and international tickets is extended through March 31, 2021. United also removes change fees for international tickets with U.S. point-of-origin.
