AMCHAM is HIRING

AMCHAM will be hosting the upcoming 2018 APCAC Business Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday and Thursday, April 4-5, 2018 themed “Charting a Bold Future: US Businesses in the Asian Century”. In conjunction with the summit, we will be publishing a report on the latest business trends, investment and trade performance of US-Malaysia and Asia Pacific.

This report will be distributed to all the participants at the summit comprising of senior government and private sector leaders from the USA and the Asia-Pacific region. Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia is invited to open the conference and we also anticipate the involvement of several U.S. Ambassadors, state governors, city mayors, and senior U.S. Administration officials.

We are looking for a Research Assistant (Temporary position – 2 months)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text
  • Prepare research report
  • Work closely with other AMCHAM’s within Asia Pacific to gather, collect and analyze data
  • Work closely with relevant government agencies

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates/interns are encouraged to apply (International Business)
  • Able to write and communicate well in English
  • Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hardworking and able to work independently
  • Opportunities to interact with key stakeholders
