FedEx / Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge 2017

International Trade Challenge (ITC) is a Market Entry Strategy competition open to Secondary School student teams, providing an unparalleled opportunity to broaden students understanding of global trade. As part of the competition, students participate in an array of stimulating activities to enhance their knowledge of product distribution, competition, pricing, promotion and sales.  Simultaneously, this experience is intended to help promote the enduring qualities of teamwork, risk-taking and self-confidence.

FedEx / JA ITC are celebrating its 10th anniversary in Malaysia this year. The program kicked off with the first International Trade Workshop in Kuala Lumpur on April 6 2017 at University Tun Abdul Razak (UniRazak). Managing Director of FedEx Malaysia, Mr.Ramesh Kumar Singam graced the workshop with his presence, parting his experience and wisdom to the students.

Consequently, there were 2 other workshops on the 17 & 18 April 2017. We had a mixture of public schools and international schools in the Klang Valley that took part in the workshops, where students teamed-up to discuss various concepts of international trade.

It was good fun for the FedEx and JA volunteers as well as a great time of learning for the students. The student grasped the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and international trade, and shared some brilliant ideas. We look forward to seeing the students again at the local finals in mid-June.
