Cha-Ching Curriculum encompasses economics curriculum for students in primary two to six. The program emphasizes economic and social studies content while providing a strong focus on finance, mathematics, planning and analytical skills. Students are encouraged to use divergent and critical thinking to make decisions on how they manage their money applying the four concepts, Earn, Save, Spend and Donate in their daily life which support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their money-management skills.
Through a variety of hands-on activities and technological supplements designed to support differentiated learning styles, students develop a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn .at school and their successful participation in a worldwide economy. Cha-Ching Curriculum emphasizes on the concepts of EARN, SAVE, SPEND and DONATE. The curriculum intends to reach 100 schools in four Malaysian states namely, Wilayah Persekutuan, Putrajaya, Perak and Penang. On March 16, 2017, the first ‘Train The Teachers’ workshop was held at Eastin Hotel, Penang. 60 teachers from 30 schools around Penang were apprised and given the rundown on the Cha-Ching Curriculum and how it is to be implemented in their respective schools.
